Match 3 – Cronulla Sharks v Parramatta Eels

The Sharks, yet to win in 2010, are looking down the barrel of their 14th consecutive defeat on Saturday night. Lacklustre performances in the first three rounds by Cronulla are why they are sitting at the bottom of the ladder.

The Sharks will come up against the Eels this round, Parramatta coming off a loss to a revived Tigers last week and the team, especially Fui Fui Moi Moi, will be keen to return to their earlier winning form.

Parramatta are defiantly the pick here, but at current juicy odds of $4.30 a few Sharks fans may back Cronulla out of loyalty just in case.

What would normally be a seemingly one way game will be made more interesting with the return of Tim Smith. A miserably under-achieving Sharks have signed new recruit Smith in a desperate bid to inject a bit of flare into their failing side, but how much if any difference to the end scoreboard their new halfback will make is debatable.
