Round 5 – Match 4 Preview: North Queensland Cowboys v Wests Tigers

One of the hardest games to predict this round and should be one of the blockbuster showdowns of the week as two of the NRL’s best attackers Johnathan Thurston and Benji Marshall come face to face.

The Cowboys have been blessed receiving two home games at Dairy Farmers Stadium in a row, after they defeated the previously unbeaten Titans here last week.

With confidence, Thurston and the crowd behind them North Queensland will be very hard to beat.

But, as the longer priced underdogs here, the Tigers do represent good value and could be one of the few teams to defeat the Cowboys up in Townsville.

The Tigers have been impressive in the last couple of rounds and are coming off a Round 4 win of their own against the Raiders down at Canberra. Wests need to make sure their forwards remain unintimidated and play some strong football in both halves this week if they are to win.

Current Head-to-Head Odds: Cowboys $1.75 – Tigers $2.08
