Round 5 – Match 6 Preview: Manly Sea Eagles v Cronulla Sharks

The Sharks claimed the surprise victory of the season so far when, previously win-less, they defeated the Eels 11 – 0 last week.

But despite getting a win on the board they are again at very long odds here as they face Manly at Brookvale Oval. With a fairly solid record playing against the Sea Eagles and having had a confidence boosting victory last week, at $3.65 the Sharks are at very juicy odds.

However, Manly are also coming off a Round 4 victory after travelling to New Zealand and beating the Warriors and will be hard to beat at home.

Looking at their 2010 form, Manly have been playing some really powerful football over the past month whereas the Sharks have been the disappointment of the year so we will stick to the favourites this match.

But if you like what Tim Smith brought to Cronulla last match and think they are back in form, it could be a very lucrative choice!
