NRL Round 7 – Match 6 Preview: St George Illawarra Dragons v Sydney Roosters

This is the classic ANZAC day clash NRL fans across the country have been waiting for, when the unswerving Dragons host the impressive Roosters at Sydney Football Stadium.

Sitting comfortably and proud at the top of the ladder with five wins to their name and with the home ground advantage the Dragons will start as the hot favourites currently paying $1.45 for a win with

In fact, the only loss St George have suffered to date this year was to Melbourne, which leads one to ask if they don’t deserve to be awarded the perfect record of six from six following the revelations about the Storm’s shocking salary cap fraud.

But despite the Dragons top form Sydney are sure to bring their best to this game, making for a hard-hitting and hopefully close match.

Last week St George thumped the tiered Titans 19 – 6 while the Roosters had a big win of their own putting the Raiders to bed 36 – 6.

Another tough decision to make here, but we are going to go against the Dragons despite all of their class and advantages and tip the Chooks with their enticing odds and hope explosive fullback Todd Carney, captain Braith Anasta and Mitchell Pearce bring it.

Current Head-to-Head Odds: Dragons $1.45 – Roosters $2.80
