2010 NRL Round 8 Match & Betting Previews

Following the turmoil in the Rugby League world last week, Round 8 of the NRL Telstra Premiership is set to be another cracker as we find out Melbourne Storm can match the energy they put into their brilliant win against the New Zealand Warriors in their first game not playing for competition points, or whether playing for pride alone won’t be enough this week.

There are some really tough games to pick this weekend as teams that looked dismal a couple of weeks ago have started to regroup and regain some form causing big upsets over the last two or three rounds.

Two teams coming back from the brink, the Parramatta Eels and the Canterbury Bulldogs, will face off on Friday night which will make for an interesting match.

Meanwhile on Saturday two teams right at the top of the NRL Ladder, the Penrith Panthers and the Gold Coast Titans, compete in one of the blockbuster games of the weekend as they both try to maintain their dominance.

Below is a detailed preview of each of the eight Round 8 matches scheduled for this week, looking at what teams are playing and where and which have the best chance of a win.
