2010 NRL Telstra Premiership Round 9 & Rep Game Results & Wrap Up

Round 9 of the 2010 NRL Telstra Premiership took place over the weekend and with the first two representative games of the season highlighting the line-up on Friday night, the results were full of upsets as teams struggled to back up from the Australia v New Zealand and City v Country matches.

As anticipated the Australian team beat the Kiwis in an intense Friday night test match while it was the Country team who reigned supreme over their City rivals in the second rep game over the weekend.

Then the premiership games played out with many NRL experts and tipsters left eating their words, ourselves included, as the underdogs won in all four games.

The biggest shock victory of the round was on Sunday afternoon when the Brisbane Broncos thrashed the Melbourne Storm 36 – 14 at the new AAMI Park stadium where any punter game enough to back the Broncos would have received a very, very juicy payout!

The other big win went to the North Queensland Cowboys on Monday night when they claimed a surprise 32 – 14 win ahead of the Sydney Roosters.
