2010 NRL Telstra Premiership Round 12 Results & Wrap Up

Twelve weeks into the season and the teams are beginning to really focus on their game, eager to either maintain or move up into the top eight of the ladder and get into the finals for the 2010 NRL Telstra Premiership.

With State of Origin Game 1 done and dusted, many of the representative-rich teams were back to their brilliant best in Round 12, including the St George Illawarra Dragons who smashed the Eels 30 – 0 on Friday night.

Round 12 saw some massive wins as well as many brilliant second-half comebacks. The biggest victory of the week went to the Wests Tigers as they methodically tore down the New Zealand Warriors 50 – 6.

The Sharks suffered their eighth loss of the year when the Brisbane Broncos started to make their premiership claims, defeating Cronulla 20 – 4 in their third consecutive win.

And the second-half comeback of the round went to the North Queensland Cowboys, who despite losing 20 – 24 to Manly on Saturday night, were sensational in their efforts.
