NRL Round 16 – Match 8 Preview: Canberra Raiders v Canterbury Bulldogs

Round 16 concludes on Monday night with the Raiders hosting the Bulldogs at Canberra Stadium.

The Raiders are coming off the back of two losses, both of which they have only been able to score eight points in, which has seen them drop down to number 13 on the ladder.

But Canterbury are the ones in real trouble. They have lost their last six, including their near win against the Titans last week, and will need a miracle to break this dismal form travelling to Canberra.

One of the easier matches of the week to pick as the Raiders should be able to win this one on a cold Monday night at home, even without the boost young Josh Dugan would give them.

The bookies agree and have the home side as the $1.55 favourites while the struggling Doggies are currently at $2.45 for a win.

Hard to see Canterbury hanging on in this one both mentally and physically, could be a bad day for the Dogs as the Raiders continue their good Monday night record.
