NRL Round 20 – Match 6 Betting Tips: South Sydney Rabbitohs v New Zealand Warriors

Sunday arvo footy features one of the most exciting battles of Round 20, when the desperate and determined Rabbitohs host the in-form Warriors at ANZ Stadium.

South Sydney dropped out of the top eight last week suffering their second straight loss when defeated 16 – 13 in a close showdown with the Dragons. Before that they lost to the Roosters in another tight clash, just four points between them.

The Rabbitohs will be very keen to secure a victory here and hopefully boost themselves back into finals contention, and playing at home they are in a good position with installing them as the $1.67 favourites.

But it is the Warriors who have really been the surprise standouts over the last two months. New Zealand have managed to string together an impressive five straight wins including their gallant 13 – 6 win over the Storm last week.

Working well as a solid unit and putting down some fresh attacking, the Warriors have worked hard to jump to the fifth spot on the ladder.

Punters that bet on the Warriors to ‘Make the Top 8’ at will be feeling pretty confident at this stage

But will it all come crashing down for New Zealand this week as they face a team desperate to claw their way back into the race for the finals?

It was a tight result the last time these two met back in Round 11, the Warriors just hanging on by two to defeat the Rabbitohs. On the back of such great form it would be easy to say they can do it again, but it is going to be tight.

The underdogs currently paying $2.20 at, the Warriors represent excellent value and could sneak in with an upset win if they keep up the great defence against a hungry Bunnies side that has been doing everything right but win.
