A brilliant weekend of footy has further revealed the finals chances of a number of the top teams as we move one week closer to the playoffs of the 2010 NRL Telstra Premiership.
Round 20 featured eight intensely entertaining clashes with upsets a plenty as even the competition leading Dragons suffered a loss when they went down 10 – 11 in a thrilling golden point loss to the Titans.
The Eels further improved their premiership claims winning their third on the trot beating the Bulldogs 32 – 16 on Friday night, while the Warriors five match winning streak came to a halt on Sunday when they lost 28 – 38 to the Rabbitohs.
Other top battles over Round 20 saw the Sea Eagles move up to the fifth spot on the ladder when they outclassed the Wests Tigers, pushing the one time number three team into fourth position.
And then there was the highly anticipated Monday night match between the Broncos and the Roosters, where Brisbane were defeated by four points ending up outside the top eight with their finals hopes now in hot water.
