Another top class weekend of footy played out over the last few nights with some exhilaratingly close clashes and upset wins highlighting Round 21 of the 2010 NRL Telstra Premiership.
On Friday night the Canterbury Bulldogs kept their slim finals hopes alive with an impressive 32 – 12 victory over the Rabbitohs, while over in Penrith the Panthers thrilled the crowds with a late burst to beat the Cowboys 24 – 16.
The Parramatta Eels suffered a massive blow to their Premiership dreams suffering a 48 – 12 thrashing by the third ranked Roosters, while the Tigers hung on to narrowly defeat the Sharks 24 – 22.
Sunday saw the Gold Coast Titans travel to New Zealand and secure an important 28 – 20 win over the Warriors, while Melbourne Storm rose above the Raiders 36 – 12 at AAMI Park.
Then the St George Illawarra Dragons were handed their second loss on the trot by the Broncos in a gritty showdown at Suncorp Stadium.
Things finished off with a shock win going to the Knights who beat Manly 32 – 14 on Monday night.
