NRL Round 25 – Match 6 Betting & Odds: Wests Tigers v Melbourne Storm

One of the top clashes of the round will take place on Sunday afternoon when the Tigers take on the Storm at Leichardt Oval.

Wests are currently third on the ladder and could still finish in second spot on the ladder, possibly even win the Minor Premiership with a minor miracle. They come into this one on the back of two victories with their huge win over the Panthers and then last week’s two-point defeat of the Eels.

Melbourne may be out of premiership contention, but they could still be a thorn in the side of the Tigers here.

They have also won two from two, but the competition they faced was less imposing having beaten the Rabbitohs and then the Sharks, and would like nothing more than to roll one of the real premiership hot shots.

The Storm managed a narrow victory last time these two met back in Round 15 last season, but after the controversial season they’ve had and the Tigers keen for a home semi, we fancy the home side here.

The bookies are on our side too and Ladbrokes.com.au have the Wests as the $1.45 favourites ahead of the Storm at $2.82 as Melbourne have really only been able to cause an upset when playing at home lately.

Will be a gritty battle early but the Storm will tire of going through the motions and the Tigers will pull out the razzle-dazzle late and give the rowdy Leichardt crowd a great win.

History here is on the Tigers side too as they have won five of their six encounters with the Storm at Leichardt.
