NRL Round 25 – Match 7 Odds & Preview: Sydney Roosters v Manly Sea Eagles

Sunday arvo footy doesn’t get much better than this as two teams practically assured of a spot in the top eight face off in a heated battle between the Roosters and the Sea Eagles at Sydney Football Stadium.

Sydney have suffered a recent drop in form losing three on the trot, putting some doubt over their premiership chances after they had previously won five straight.

They have lost to the Dragons, Sharks and the Titans dropping down into sixth spot and really need to regroup and regain some confidence before taking on the fifth-ranked Sea Eagles.

Manly have been loss-win-loss-win over the last month and are coming off a close victory over the Warriors. Looking at their recent record a loss is on the cards for the Sea Eagles here, can they put a stop to it is the question.

It was a big win for Manly when these two met at a similar time of the season last year, but the Roosters were coming to the end of one of their worst ever seasons and this time it is a different story.

There is still plenty of love for the Chooks and with so much more to play for here we think they can get over their recent hiccup and win this.

Ladbrokes.com.au agree with us and have the Roosters as the $1.57 favourites while Manly are out to $2.45, especially with Anthony Watmough (ankle) still in doubt.

If Sydney come here with a plan and stick to it then they can bounce back, win this and give the home crowd a lot to cheer about.
